Briefbox is an online educational platform full of practice briefs and resources to help aspiring designers improve their skills, build up their portfolio and ultimately gain employment. It is also the sister company of ORCA. What started as a passion project by our Creative Director, quickly gained traction within the design community, and so we founded Briefbox as a separate entity in 2015. Since then, it has grown into a thriving membership organisation of over 35,000 designers from across the globe. We have handpicked some of the best mentors and contributors from each design discipline to produce courses and provide mentorship for the platform.

THE SOLUTION

In 2020 we underwent a full overhaul of the Briefbox brand identity and digital platform. ORCA built a fun, inclusive and playful brand identity, which reflects Briefbox's informal, welcoming and diverse learning environment. We also created the community website itself, customising a Learning Management System (LMS) to house all of the incredible content. We then created a full set of branded collateral and course assets, alongside a full ongoing marketing strategy.
