ORCA seeks a gregarious, resourceful and disciplined Project Manager. You will be responsible for managing the traffic in and out of the studio, managing the team’s resources and supporting our Account Manager to deliver projects on time, on budget and on brief. You will be an inherently organised and meticulous individual who gets strangely excited over a spreadsheet or timetrack report. You’ll have a knack for creating new processes and integrating new systems to maximise efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial scoping through to project delivery
  • Maintain budgets, timings and schedules for each assigned account/project, identifying conflicts between cost, time and quality
  • Plan internal capacity and resourcing for each project
  • Exercise leadership and control of key client accounts and suppliers throughout project duration
  • Maintain regular, proactive contact with all internal and external clients and partners to ensure proper plan execution and satisfaction
  • Attend client and agency meetings, to offer constructive input, leadership and opinion
  • Use your experience/knowledge of the client and the brief at hand to offer valuable opinion and insight during early concept work
  • Be a key decision maker on the outcome and delivery of creative work
  • Take ownership of internal PM software
  • Help with preparing effective and engaging presentations for stakeholders
  • Liaise and manage subcontractors and partners involved in project delivery
  • Offer support and assistance for the AM in the day-to-day running of the studio schedule and the client accounts

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a creative studio environment
  • A detailed understanding of a creative sudio’s processes and workflows
  • An insatiable curiosity and huger to develop
  • A detailed understanding of the branding process and its power to facilitate change
  • An ambition to drive ORCA forward as a business
  • Experience of various project management software
